We will be hosting Beth Cox for our SCRW meeting this Saturday. Beth Cox is Sumner County School Board Representative for the 4th District. Beth will conduct a "State of the School’s Address" covering the many challenges and dramatic reforms for our school systems.

She is involved in with many local non-profits and serves on the Board of Directors of S.T.A.R.S. (Students Taking A Right Stand), an assistance program to teens in crisis and Decisions, Choices, Options. A non-profit that educates teens about the facts about crisis pregnancy and the choices that is available to them promoting adoption as the best option. She is also involved with United Way and Good Neighbor Mission.

She and her husband have been married for 21 years and he is on staff at Long Hollow Baptist Church, where he serves as the Men's Minister/ Small Group Pastor. They have taught newlyweds for over 15 years and teaches Bible Study on Wed. nights. She is also active with the youth ministry and enjoys being a camp counselor every summer.

Beth and her husband Todd have resided in Hendersonville for 16 years and have two beautiful teen-age daughters who attend Beech High School and T.W. Hunter Middle School. She is a native of Campbellsville, Kentucky and proud graduate of University of Kentucky.
